With heightened consumer interest in environmental issues, Planglow appreciate how increasingly important it is to offer its customers environmentally friendly products, whilst delivering the most suitable product solution.
As an organisation we have a policy of only sourcing, where feasible, paper-based products sourced from sustainable and renewable plantations. The majority of our products are paper-based; including our bags, menu paper, shelf-edge tickets and matt and gloss labels. This means they will biodegrade in a composting environment and also means that they are suitable for recycling.
All Planglow packaging is made from 100% biodegradable and compostable materials. The clear windows are made renewable plants rather than an oil based plastic, making our packaging a fully compostable alternative. Even our double-walled hot cups are lined with a food safe plant based bio-coating which complies with the European and American standards for compostability.
