With heightened consumer interest in environmental issues, Planglow appreciate how increasingly important it is to offer its customers environmentally friendly products, whilst delivering the most suitable product solution.
As an organisation we have a policy of only sourcing, where feasible, paper-based products sourced from sustainable and renewable plantations. Our bags, menus, matt and gloss labels are made from paper. This means they will biodegrade in a composting environment. It also means that they are suitable for recycling.
All Planglow packaging is made from 100% biodegradable and compostable material. The clear window is made from Polylactic acid (PLA), a fully bio-compostable alternative to plastic. PLA is derived from corn, a 100% renewable resource. The cardboard contains a special eco-friendly coating, which acts as a moisture barrier and is 100% biodegradable, compostable and recyclable.
